Another wonderful holiday in India, superbly organized by Newmon. Great hotels in Mumbai, Aurangabad and Goa. We had a tour of Mumbai after which we flew to Aurangabad to visit the Ajanta Buddhist caves, followed by two weeks at 2 different hotels in Goa. This is the second time Newmon has organized our holiday and we now look on him as a friend as well as someone we can completely rely on. Highly recommended.

Hello New Mon, Fine that you have contacted my husband again this afternoon. It's pleasant to hear that you care so much about us. Now, I can say to you that we all liked it a lot! We enjoyed visiting all cities, from Mandawa, over Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaipur, Pushkar, Agra till Delhi. We loved visiting all palaces, forts and of course, the top of the bill, the Taj Mahal, a building that everyone must have seen at least once in his life! We stayed in incredible hotels, really palaces!! Some of the those new, others old! But we enjoyed all of them! Also the guides were very good. Luckily that we took them, because with all those words in Hindi, all those streets were you can get lost, I understand now why it is so important to have them. They all gave good information about the city, but also background information about life in India, their habits, politics, nature, ... And , last but not least, we loved our driver. He brought us everywhere, during the 1800km, that we have driven. Unfortunately, roads are so bad in India, that it sometimes took a long time to get somewhere. Once again, thanks o lot! I found NewMon and The Indian Journeys by reading TripAdvisor Forums. I contacted him and he was professional and helpful in his prompt reply. I had a very short time to visit Kerala and would be traveling alone, so I wanted everything planned carefully. NewMon helped with every detail and had great suggestions based on the travel logistics and my interests. I was able to stay in 2 wonderful resorts, visit Periyer Reserve, enjoy an elephant encounter, tour a tea plantation and spice gardens. My driver Santhosh was with me the entire 4 days and transported me to the airport for my flight home. NewMon called every evening to make sure all was well and paid a visit in person to meet me prior to my departure from India. I was very pleased with the planning and professional follow up. I would definitely recommend and use again should I return to India.

Having just returned from a fabulous trip to Kerala, I have no hesitation in recommending The Indian Journeys and Mr Newmon. As part of our trip, The Indian Journeys organised a weeklong tour to experience the tea plantations and spectacular scenery of the Western Ghats, the spice plantations of the Cardamom Hills, elephant riding and bathing (great fun) in Thekkady, and luxury cruising in a houseboat on The Backwaters. From the first contact following our enquiry, right through to end of our trip, the service provided by Mr Newmon was exceptional. A brief call from Mr Newmon each evening to check all was going well was one example of the attentive service The Indian Journeys provide. When our itinerary was disrupted by a local strike, Mr Newmon calmly and quickly contacted drivers and guides to readjust our itinerary to ensure we didn't miss out. Our driver was very experienced, polite, punctual and helpful and the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. You'll be in very safe hands if you use The Indian Journeys.

It was our first trip to India... we had only a few days there to spent - ca. 10. So it was really hard to plan our trip - because we wanted to see as much as possible in this short time period... at first I tried to do this by myself... but then I have heard from our friends about their trip to India and about The Indian Journeys and Newmon and how happy they were with their trip. And then we have decided with my husband that we want Newmon and The Indian Journeys to plan the whole trip for us. And it was the best choice and decision. Newmon has planned whole trip, send us the itinerary, we have changed some things and then accepted it. And then he has organized our full trip plan - with English speaking local guides, hotels, car transport, flights and many more... 🙂 Everything was just ATTAINED TO THE LUST BUTTON. Really. We saw everything we wanted - we were on safari, we were in the jungle, we have visited many historical and sacral places, but on the other hand bazaars. We were in the mountains, we were by the sea. We saw tea plantations. We have tasted Indian tea. We have travelled with historical train - a special route. We have tasted delicious Indian food and drinks. We have heard from best chosen local guides ( many of the were licensed Lonely Planet guides ) so many information and curiosities. And this all thanks to Newmon 🙂 Additionally he was always there for us - in case we needed help or had a questions. He was calling or texting us every day to ask how the trip goes and how was our day. It was really nice. And on the last day we met with Newmon and have eaten a dinner together. It was really VERY NICE to meet him after our perfect- organized journey! We will definitely come back to India and only with Newmon! I highly recommend THE INDIAN JOURNEYS AND NEWMON.

I recently experienced a tour of the Kerala state of India organised by Newmon of The Indian Journeys. I traveled alone with driver, Prem, in an airconditioned vehicle and stayed at very good accommodation. We traveled from Cochin to the Kerala backwaters for an overnight boat tour on the lake, visiting various places of interest on the way over six nights in all. It was a wonderful experience, in fact much better than I expected. Very good value for money. I say this from having experienced traveling extensively throughout S.E. Asia and some of Europe. And would recommend these people without hesitation. The food was great also.
